Beautiful. I came home today with lemons, asparagus, beets, and I looked really hard at the artichokes.
Are those tiny little squash? It's far to early for squash here, even tiny ones.

I love the squash eyes and big asparagus nose!
What a lovely shoppping basket, no wonder Julian paints such perfect produce!
Ruth, I believe it is still possible to be anonymous. I certainly have not changed anything (though I have noticed anonymity often comes with very critical and sometimes mean comments). The comment above was a very very long piece of spam trying to sell me (and you) some sex aid which I removed. Do let me know if the problems persist.
kaycie, yes the are small round squach, yellow and green! I think the remaining one may find its way into another pasta primavera soon, the whole basket having made the best one I have ever had!
